This is exactly that software what you were looking for. You can control more than one webcams simultaneously. I am not sure about the remote controllers, but this software definitely supports multi webcam capturing.
Just plug your webcams and this software automatically detects them and specifies a name. just browse the thumbnail view and you can preview the cam you want.
