am i getting a tax refund?

so i just got a tax document back from my old work and it has all these amounts of money. i didnt work very long (summer job) and i am 19 years old. here’s what the money parts say:

wages, tips, other compensation: 348.24
social security wages: 348.24
medicare wages and tips: 348.24
federal income tax withheld: blank
social security tax withheld: 21.59
medicare tax withheld: 5.05

so thats that, what is this for? my dad left home so i am not sure. is this what i am being taxed? will i get any in return? thanks for your help

    They probably didn’t withhold any fed income tax because the amount you earned was so small.

    They withheld the other amounts because they have to no matter how little you make.

    So no refund this year.

    You won’t get anything back since you didn’t pay any federal income tax. (Unless you have a child and file for an EIC.)

    That’s your W-2, Wage and Tax Statement. It shows how much you earned and how much was withheld in taxes.

    Your income is so low that no tax is due. You don’t need to file as no income tax was withheld so there is nothing to refund. Social Security and Medicare taxes are not refundable.

    No, you’re not getting a tax refund. You paid no Federal or State taxes so there’s nothing to refund. You must keep the W-2 or 1099 for your records though. It’s simply a statement of your earnings that every employer is legally bound to give you for taxation purposes.
